Zombie Barricade
Defend a farmyard barricade from waves of goofy cartoon zombies. Aim for headshots, reload at the right moment, blow up barrels and spend cash on repairs and new guns.
Zombie Barricade is a wave defense shooting game set on a sunny farm. Cartoon zombies shamble across the field toward your wooden barricade, growing larger as they get closer, and you shoot them down before they start pounding on the planks. Headshots deal extra damage and score double, and every zombie vanishes in a harmless puff of green smoke. Your gun holds a limited magazine, so picking the right moment to reload is half the battle.
Each wave sends more zombies and new kinds join in: fast runners, traffic-cone heads that need the cone knocked off first, hulking brutes that smash the barricade hard, and purple spitters that stop in the field and lob goo at your defenses. Every fifth wave is a boss night with a giant zombie under the moon. Red barrels dot the field, and one well timed shot sets off a blast that can wipe out a whole group. Between waves the supply shed sells barricade repairs and reinforcement, grenades, damage upgrades, and three new weapons: a wide spread shotgun, a fast SMG and a powerful headshot rifle. Reaching wave 6, 11 or 16 unlocks a checkpoint with starting cash.
Great for players who enjoy zombie shooters, tower defense pressure and upgrade choices. Tip: let zombies line up near a barrel before you shoot it.
How to play
Shoot the zombies before they reach the barricade; once there they damage it, and the game ends when the barricade breaks. Headshots deal more damage and score double. Watch your magazine and reload when it is safe. Shoot red barrels to blast nearby zombies, shoot spitter goo out of the air, and throw grenades into crowds. Clear every zombie to finish a wave, then buy repairs, upgrades and weapons in the supply shed before the next wave.
Controls
- Mouse: Aim and click to shoot (hold with the SMG)
- R / right click: Reload
- G: Throw a grenade at the sight
- 1-4 / mouse wheel: Switch weapons
- Arrow keys / WASD and Space: Move the sight and shoot
- Touch: Tap or hold to shoot; tap the ammo panel to reload; weapon and grenade buttons at the bottom
- 1-7 in the shop: Buy items
- P / Esc: Pause
- M: Mute
