Wreck Arena is a 3D vehicular combat game where remote-controlled battle bots smash each other to scrap. The driving is arcade at heart, weighty but quick to respond: hold the handbrake to slide around corners and refill your boost, launch off ramps, flip and barrel roll in the air, and feel every landing in the suspension. Tire smoke, skid marks and sparks fly whenever you scrape a wall or ram a rival.
Glowing crates around each arena hold your arsenal: swarms of homing rockets, a rapid-fire gatling turret, proximity mines and a shockwave blast that flips everything nearby. Every car also has its own rechargeable special, from a ram shield and an afterburner fire trail to a siege mortar, chain lightning and a flamethrower. Hit bots shatter into flying wheels and armor plates.
Fight in a neon stadium at night, a scrapyard with deadly crushers, and a desert canyon with a full loop. Rumble throws escalating waves at you, with a giant Juggernaut boss every few waves and an upgrade to pick after each one. Last Car Standing is an eight-car free-for-all inside a shrinking zone, and the daily challenge mixes a different arena and twist every day.
Every match earns coins and XP to unlock six cars, paint jobs and upgrades, and your best scores and career stats are saved.
How to play
Drive with WASD or the arrow keys, hold Space to drift (drifting refills boost) and hold Shift to boost. Drive through a glowing crate to pick up a weapon, then fire it with the left mouse button or J; weapons lock on to bots in front of you or near your mouse cursor. When your special bar says READY, press K or right-click to unleash your car's special. In the air, W and S tilt the car and Space with A or D does a barrel roll for bonus points. If you land on your roof or get stuck, press R. In Rumble, wreck every bot to clear the wave and choose an upgrade; in Last Car Standing, stay inside the shrinking zone and be the last car rolling. On a phone, use the steering stick on the left and the pedal and action buttons on the right.
Controls
- W A S D / Arrow keys: Drive and steer (W/S also tilt the car in the air)
- Space: Handbrake drift (with A/D in the air: barrel roll)
- Shift: Boost
- Left click / J: Fire the weapon you picked up
- Right click / K: Car special (when charged)
- Mouse: Optional aiming: weapons lock on near the cursor
- R: Flip back over or reset if stuck
- P / Esc: Pause
- M: Mute
- Touch: Steering stick, gas and brake pedals, fire, special, drift and boost buttons
