The rules are simple and ruthless: if your head touches another worm's body, you pop into a shower of tasty pellets, and the same goes for the bots. Cut in front of rivals, boost past their noses and feast on what they leave behind. Boosting costs a little length, so it is a trade-off between speed and size. The bots dodge danger, hunt for food and sometimes try to circle around you, and the candy-striped arena fence is just as deadly as another worm. A minimap and a live top-10 leaderboard show how you stack up as you grow.
This free online worm game is perfect for quick, competitive sessions on desktop or mobile, with mouse, keyboard or touch steering plus an on-screen boost button. Your score is the peak length you reach. Tip: once you are long, coil around smaller worms to trap them, then wait for them to crash into your body.
How to play
Grow your worm as long as possible by eating pellets and the food dropped by eliminated worms. If your head touches another worm's body or the arena fence, you are out. Steer toward the mouse or your finger, or turn with the arrows or A/D; hold click, Space or the BOOST button to speed up at the cost of some length.
