Word Snake
Drag a snake through a grid of letters to spell words against the clock. Longer words score more, tiles refresh as you go, and each level sets a tougher target, with a new daily grid.
Word Snake is a fast word-search game where you draw words with a snake. Press on any tile and drag through touching tiles, diagonals included, to spell a word of three or more letters. Let go to submit it. The snake stretches along your path with a little head and tongue, and the tiles you used are replaced with fresh letters so the grid never runs dry.
Levels mode gives you a clock and a point target. Beat the target before time runs out to clear the level and earn up to three stars for finishing quickly; run out of time and the run ends. Longer words score far more and add seconds to the clock, orange x2 tiles double a word, gems drop bonus coins, and quick back-to-back words build a combo. Grids start at 4x4 and grow to 5x5 as you climb. Blitz is a two-minute high-score chase unlocked at level 3, and the daily grid is a 100-second challenge that starts identically for everyone.
Earn XP and coins every run, work through three daily goals and spend coins on hints, extra seconds and upgrades. Unlock new snake colours and backdrops as you level up. Tip: scan for common endings like -ING and -ER first, and use the shuffle only when you are truly stuck because it costs five seconds. You can also simply type a word and press Enter.
How to play
Press and drag across touching tiles to spell a word of 3+ letters, then release. Longer words score more and add time. In Levels mode, reach the point target before the clock ends to advance; if time runs out the run is over.
Controls
- Mouse / touch: Press and drag through touching tiles, release to submit
- Keyboard: Type a word and press Enter; Backspace clears
- Space: Shuffle the grid (-5 seconds)
- H: Use a hint
- P / Esc: Pause
- M: Mute
- R: Restart from the results screen
