Whip Ranger
Survive a desert horde with an auto-cracking whip. Land hits with the glowing tip for critical damage, collect gems, level up and pick upgrades between surges.
Whip Ranger is a top-down horde survival game set on a sun-baked desert flat. Your whip cracks by itself every second or so, sweeping an arc toward your aim, and the glowing tip deals triple critical damage. That one rule turns a simple survivor game into a spacing game: you want crawlers, bats and stone golems sitting right at whip length, not hugging your boots.
Defeated foes drop gems, and every level-up pauses the action so you can choose one of three upgrades: a longer lash, faster cracks, heavier damage, a bigger crit zone, a second whip behind you, explosive Thunder Tips, wider swings, swift boots, a gem magnet or extra hearts. Enemies grow tougher and more numerous over time, bats weave, spitters keep their distance and lob acid, and every 45 seconds the horde surges. Every second surge brings a Dust Titan, a horned boss that fires triple volleys and drops a pile of gems and a heart when it falls. Lifetime points raise your ranger rank, which unlocks permanent starting perks.
It is a great pick if you enjoy survivor-style action with build choices and short runs that keep getting deeper. Tip: keep moving in wide circles so enemies line up at the edge of your range, and grab Back Lash early if you get surrounded often.
How to play
Move to keep enemies at whip length; your whip cracks automatically toward your aim and the glowing tip deals critical damage. Defeat foes to drop gems, fill the experience bar and choose an upgrade each level. Survive the horde surges and Dust Titans as long as you can. Touching enemies or acid costs a heart, and the run ends when all hearts are gone.
