Surf a rolling ocean wave on a bright sunny day. Slide above and below the wave to grab golden stars, build combos, and dodge the rocks in your path.

Wave Rider is a breezy endless surfing game. Your surfer rides a rolling wave across a sunny ocean, and the wave carries you forward on its own. Your job is to slide above or below the crest to collect golden stars and avoid jagged rocks drifting along the swell. The wave constantly rises and dips, so staying on target means following its shape smoothly.

Stars come in lines, scattered groups and gaps inside rock walls. Every star collected in a row raises your combo, and each star is worth more as the chain grows, up to ten times the base value. Miss a star and the combo resets, so greedy players have to chase every one. Hitting a rock costs one of your three boards and briefly makes you invulnerable. The ride speeds up as your score climbs, giving you less time to read each pattern.

This surfing arcade game suits anyone who wants something relaxed to pick up, with enough combo chasing to keep high score fans busy. Move with the mouse, drag a finger, or use W and S or the arrow keys. Tip: rock walls always leave one lane open with a star in it, so look for the star and aim straight for it.

How to play

Slide above or below the wave to collect stars and avoid rocks. Collecting stars in a row builds a combo that multiplies their value, while missing one resets it. Each rock hit costs one of three boards. Lose all three and the run ends.
