Duel AI rivals with flashcard vocabulary. Pick the meaning before the clock or your rival wins, climb 40 duels across four tiers, play a daily gauntlet and track every word you master.
Vocab Flash Battle turns vocabulary practice into a head-to-head card duel. A flashcard shows a word, and you pick its meaning from four choices before the timer and your rival beat you to it. Answer right and first to hit the rival; answer wrong and you hurt yourself; if the rival answers correctly before you, it hits you. Speed and combos add damage, so this word duel rewards both knowledge and quick reading.
Forty opponents across four tiers, from the Reading Nook to the Grand Archive, ask about nearly 350 words that run from everyday to advanced. Rivals get faster and more accurate as you climb, and every tenth duel is a boss with extra health. From tier 2 some cards flip around: they show a meaning and ask for the word. You also get a few charges of 50/50, Freeze, which delays the rival, and Shield, which blocks one hit. The Daily Gauntlet is a ten-card duel against the Daily Champion with a rule that changes each day, such as reverse cards, a six-second clock or only advanced words, and it keeps a streak. Rival Ladder unlocks at level 3 and keeps sending tougher rivals.
The Deck page tracks how well you know every word and lists the ones you missed, which come back more often until you master them. Earn coins and experience, unlock six themes and buy upgrades. Great for students and word lovers. Tip: read the four choices quickly before settling on one.
How to play
Pick the right meaning (or the right word on reverse cards) before the timer and your rival. A correct, first answer hits the rival; a wrong answer hurts you; a correct rival answer hits you. Use 50/50, Freeze and Shield wisely. Empty the rival's health to win, or have more health after 16 rounds.
Controls
- Mouse / touch: Tap an answer or a skill button

- C: 50/50: remove two wrong answers
- F: Freeze: delay the rival's answer
- S: Shield: block the next hit
- Esc: Pause
