Traffic Lights
Run the signals at ten busy junctions: switch traffic lights to keep cars, buses and ambulances moving without a single crash or gridlock.
Traffic Lights is a top-down traffic control game where you are the city's signal operator. Cars roll in from every road, and each approach has its own light that you switch between green and red with a tap. Let crossing streets go at the same time and the cars collide in a spin of smoke and sparks; keep a road on red for too long and the drivers start honking and the city's mood drains away.
The campaign follows a city map of ten junctions that unlock one by one. It starts with two one-way streets, then adds four-way crossings, right turns that merge into the cross street, a T-junction where left turns cut across oncoming traffic, ambulances that ignore red lights, a double junction where queues can spill back into the next box, wet roads that need longer to stop, slow buses and finally a rainy midnight rush. Rush waves send heavy traffic from one direction at a time, so a fixed rhythm is never enough. Each junction has a car target, three hearts for crashes and a mood meter, and you earn up to three stars.
It suits puzzle and management fans who enjoy quick reactions and planning. Tip: give a light time to turn yellow before you open the cross street.
How to play
Each road approaching a junction has a signal button. Tap or click it to switch that light from green to red (it goes yellow first) or back to green. Get the target number of cars through the junction to clear it. Two cars crashing costs a heart and losing all three ends the level, and cars left waiting too long honk and drain the mood meter. Clear junctions to unlock the next one on the city map and earn up to three stars.
