Temperature Control
Melt ice blocks and freeze water into bridges to reach the flag in this frosty puzzle race. Manage your energy and beat the clock across endless levels.
Temperature Control is a snowy puzzle race where your only tools are heat and cold. Every level is a frozen field split by stone walls, and the only ways through are a few gaps plugged with ice blocks or flooded with water. Heat melts ice into water, and cold freezes water into walkable ice. To reach the green flag you have to work out which gaps to open and in what order, then actually walk the route.
You aim a circle of effect and hold heat or cold to change the tiles inside it, but your energy bar drains while a tool is running and needs a moment to recharge if it empties. Careless heat can also melt the ice floor you are standing on and wash you back to shore. You start with seventy seconds, and every flag gives points plus extra time, so a fast level buys breathing room for the next. Later levels add more plugged gaps per wall.
This game is great for players who like quick logic puzzles with a little time pressure. On a computer you move with WASD and aim with the mouse. On touch screens, pick MOVE, HEAT or COLD and hold on the map. Tip: melt an ice block first, then freeze the water it leaves behind.
How to play
Reach the green flag before time runs out. Heat turns ice blocks and ice floor into water, and cold turns water into walkable ice. Melt and freeze the gaps in each stone wall to make a path. Tools drain energy, which recharges when you stop. Each flag scores points and adds 22 seconds.
