Sunset Cruiser is a classic pseudo-3D arcade racing game in the spirit of the old behind-the-car road racers. The road rolls over hills and swings through long curves while the sun sinks behind the mountains, and the clock never stops ticking. Reach the checkpoint at the end of each stage to add more seconds and keep the run alive.
The drive crosses five stages, each with its own scenery and colors: a palm-lined coast highway, a canyon at dusk, rolling vineyard hills, a lakeside at twilight and a harbor city at night. Curves get sharper, hills get steeper and traffic gets heavier as you go, and seven named rivals race the same road, dodging traffic and passing you if you slip. Sharp corners push the car wide, so lift off or you will clip the roadside. Tuck in behind another car to build a slipstream, save nitro for the straights, and earn bonus points for every car you pass and for close calls. Reaching Stage 3 unlocks a sharper roadster, and finishing the whole route unlocks a fast grand tourer.
It is ideal for fans of retro racing and quick high-score runs. Tip: checkpoint time carries over, so a clean early stage buys breathing room for the busy city streets at the end.
How to play
Drive to the checkpoint at the end of each of the five stages before the timer runs out; each checkpoint adds time and a nitro. Avoid traffic and roadside objects, lift off in sharp curves, slipstream behind cars and use nitro on straights. Score comes from distance, passing cars, close calls, checkpoints and, at the finish, your place and remaining time.

- Up / W: Accelerate

- Left / Right or A / D: Steer
- Shift / N: Nitro boost
- Touch: Auto gas; arrow pads steer, BRAKE and NITRO buttons
- Left / Right + Enter: Choose a car in the garage
- P / Esc: Pause
