Splat Paint
Roll a paint blob across a sunny rooftop, cover more floor than ten-plus bot painters in two minutes, and lob paint bombs to splat and stun rivals.
Splat Paint is a territory .io game about covering a rooftop in your colour. Your pink paint blob leaves a trail wherever it rolls, and ten to fifteen named computer painters are doing the same in their own colours. Every cell can be repainted, so the floor turns into a shifting patchwork, and a live top-10 leaderboard and coverage bar show exactly who owns how much.
Your own paint makes you faster and enemy paint slows you down, and when two painters bump, the one standing on their own colour splats the other and stuns them for a moment. Pickups add depth: paint bombs you can lob for a big burst that stuns anyone caught inside, an extra-wide roller for a few seconds, and paint floods that cover a whole area at once. Bots chase empty or enemy floor, grab pickups and throw bombs at nearby rivals, although they leave you alone for the first few seconds. Rounds last two minutes. Finishing in the top three raises your studio level, which brings a new obstacle layout, more rival painters and bolder bots.
It is bright, chaotic fun for quick sessions. Tip: paint big loops through empty corners instead of fighting over the centre, and save a bomb for the final seconds when the leader is close by.
How to play
Steer your blob with the mouse, WASD or the arrow keys; everything you roll over turns pink. Press Space or right-click to throw a paint bomb toward the cursor. Bumping a rival while you stand on your own paint splats and stuns them. After two minutes your score is your floor coverage in hundredths of a percent plus 50 per splat. Finish in the top three to raise your studio level.
