Spin Lock
Crack a chain of brass combination locks by spinning symbol dials and reading the clue pegs. Each lock you open adds time, but every wrong guess costs two seconds.
Spin Lock is a code-breaking logic puzzle dressed up as a vintage brass vault. Each lock hides a secret combination of colored symbols, one per dial. Spin the dials, press Try, and the lock answers with pegs: a green peg for every symbol in exactly the right place and a yellow peg for every right symbol sitting in the wrong spot. Read the clues, refine your guess and pop the shackle open.
It plays like a classic deduction game against the clock. You start with sixty seconds, every wrong try costs two of them, and every cracked lock refunds a chunk of time plus points for solving quickly and for the time left on the clock. The first lock has three dials and four symbols, then the vault keeps escalating to four and five dials with up to eight different symbols, so later locks demand real logic rather than lucky spins. A history panel keeps your recent guesses and their pegs on screen so you can reason from them.
This code-cracking game is ideal for fans of logic puzzles who like a little time pressure. Tip: spend your first guess on as many different symbols as possible, then use the yellow pegs to work out which symbols are in the code before worrying about their exact positions.
How to play
Spin each dial to choose a symbol, then press Try. Green pegs mean a symbol is correct and in the right place, yellow pegs mean a correct symbol in the wrong place. Open locks to score and gain time. Wrong tries cost two seconds, and the run ends when the clock hits zero.
