Roll a growing snowball across a shrinking winter island, scoop up fresh powder and ram rival snowballs into the icy sea in fast three-minute arena rounds.
Snowball.io is a winter arena io game about rolling, growing and bumping. You start as a small, nimble snowball on a snowy island packed with named rival snowballs. Every patch of fresh white powder you roll over makes you bigger, while the tracks you leave behind turn packed and blue until the snow slowly falls again. Size is power, but it comes at a price: big snowballs hit like a truck yet turn and accelerate slowly, while small ones zip around and dodge.
Each round lasts three minutes and the island melts inward the whole time, so the crowd is squeezed toward the middle and every collision matters more. Hits stun the snowball that gets bumped, sending it sliding across the snow, and anything that slides past the shore splashes into the sea. You have three lives per round. Snow squalls drop fresh powder in one spot, pulling everyone into a scramble, and once you are big enough you can flatten pine trees for bonus points. Icy patches are slippery and give no snow.
Finish in the top three to unlock the next of six islands, each with more rivals and sharper opponents. Coins from every round buy permanent Grip, Packing and Dash upgrades. Tip: approach rivals from the island side and dash to shove them outward, never the other way round.
How to play
Steer your snowball over fresh white snow to grow. Ram rival snowballs into the sea for KO points, and dash for a burst of speed at the cost of a little snow. The island shrinks for three minutes; you have three lives. Finish the round high on the leaderboard for a bonus and to unlock new islands.
