Shadow Blade
A ninja sprints through an ink-painted hall on both floor and ceiling. Flip between them to dodge stone, slash crates, foes and shuriken, and build combos to earn ninja ranks.
Shadow Blade is an endless ninja runner drawn like a sumi-e ink painting, with a red sun, misty mountains and swaying bamboo behind a long wooden hall. Your ninja runs automatically and can stick to either the floor or the ceiling. One button flips gravity in a quick swoop, the other swings the sword in a wide ink arc, and every clean cut splashes ink across the scene with a satisfying slow-motion beat.
Stone blocks and tall pillars cannot be cut, so you must flip past them. Wooden crates and masked foes can be dodged or sliced for points, and later foes throw shuriken that you can parry with a well-timed slash. Cuts in quick succession build a combo multiplier worth up to ten times the points. The run speeds up steadily, new obstacle patterns appear, and every 400 meters you reach a new stage, from Dawn Hall to Storm Roof, each with its own paper tint and sky plus a stage bonus. Every foe and crate you cut counts toward lifetime ninja ranks, from Novice to Grandmaster.
This runner is for players who like fast reactions and a little rhythm. Tip: slash slightly early, since the blade reaches well ahead of the ninja, and flip only when a stone is truly in your lane.
How to play
Your ninja runs on its own along the floor or ceiling. Flip to the other surface to avoid stone blocks and pillars, which cannot be cut. Slash wooden crates, foes and thrown shuriken for points; quick consecutive cuts build a combo multiplier. Touching any obstacle ends the run. Speed rises over time, each 400 meters starts a new stage with a bonus, and lifetime cuts raise your ninja rank.
