Drive a taxi through a busy top-down city: pick up waving passengers, race the fare meter to their stop for big tips, dodge traffic and meet your shift quota to get promoted.
Rush Hour Taxi is a top-down city driving game about making money against the clock. Your cab starts each shift with fifty seconds on the timer in a sunny grid of streets, parks and colourful rooftops. Slow down next to a passenger waving a dollar sign to pick them up, then follow the green arrow to their drop-off zone before the fare meter runs dry.
Every delivery pays a base fare plus a tip that shrinks as the meter drains and drops with every crash, so fast, clean driving pays best. Each drop-off also adds seconds to the shift clock, and back-to-back deliveries build a streak bonus. Traffic thickens as you deliver more fares, buses and cars honk and block junctions, and the handbrake lets you swing hard around corners. Each shift has a cash quota: meet it and you are promoted at the end of the shift, climbing from Rookie Cabbie toward Taxi Royalty with a faster cab in a new paint colour, while the next quota rises and traffic starts busier.
It suits anyone who enjoys arcade driving with a clear goal and a quick restart. Tip: brake early as you approach a passenger, and use the handbrake to turn tight corners instead of scraping the curbs.
How to play
Drive to a waving passenger and slow down next to them to pick them up. Follow the arrow to the green drop-off zone and stop there before the fare meter runs out. You earn a fare plus a tip that is bigger for fast, crash-free rides, and each delivery adds time to the shift clock. The shift ends when the clock hits zero. Meet the shift's cash quota to be promoted and get a faster cab.
