A side-view exploration adventure through ancient ruins. Find relics for double jump, dash and wall climbing, unlock the map, collect a silver key and defeat the Stone Guardian.
Ruins Explorer is a compact metroidvania style adventure in a lost jungle temple made of twelve connected rooms. You begin in the Entrance Courtyard with a sword and a lantern, and every area you open is remembered on your map. Slash beetles, bats and skeletons, grab treasure, and rest at glowing shrines to heal and save your progress.
The ruins are full of ability gates. A tall ledge needs the Double Jump relic from the Forgotten Library, cracked walls and a huge pit need the Dash relic from the Hall of Roots, and the long Gear Shaft can only be climbed with the Wall Claws hidden in the Sunken Crypt. A silver key from the Flooded Depths opens the door to the Guardian Arena, where the Stone Guardian slams, charges and rains rocks on you. Heart containers, the Cartographer's Lens and coin upgrades such as a keen blade and extra vitality make you stronger, and the game saves automatically whenever you find something.
It is made for players who love exploring, backtracking and finding secrets. A daily treasure run unlocks every relic and hides gems around the ruins for four minutes. Tip: press Tab to open the map and look for blinking marks, they show relics and hearts you have not collected yet.
How to play
Explore the ruins, slash the guardians and collect treasure. Relics give you double jump, dash and wall climbing, which open sealed areas. Rest at shrines to heal and save, find the silver key, open the Crown Hall door and defeat the Stone Guardian. If you fall you wake up at your last shrine with all your finds kept.

- Arrow keys / A D: Run
- Space / W / Up: Jump, press again in the air for a double jump, jump off walls with claws
- Z / J: Sword slash
- X / K / Shift: Dash
- E: Rest at a shrine
- Tab / N: Open the map
- Touch: On-screen arrows, JUMP, SLASH, DASH, REST and MAP buttons
- P / Esc: Pause
- M: Mute
