Pulse Barriers
Tap in rhythm to drop the barriers just as your runner reaches them on a sunny track, chaining perfect timing for big combo multipliers.
Pulse Barriers is a one-button rhythm runner set on a bright red running track under a blue sky. Your stick-figure sprinter never stops, and colourful barriers keep sliding in from the right. Tap to send out a pulse that briefly lowers every barrier, and time it so your runner passes through while the gate is down.
Timing is graded. Hit the middle of the pulse window for a Perfect worth 100 points, slightly off for a Great, and a little early or late for an OK. Every four clean passes raises your combo multiplier, up to eight times. A shrinking ring around each approaching barrier shows the ideal moment to tap. Pulses that do not catch a barrier are wasted and break your combo, so random tapping does not pay. Clipping a barrier costs one of your three lives. The pace ramps up as you go: the runner gets faster, the pulse window gets shorter and barriers start arriving in tight pairs that need quick double taps.
This is a good match for players who like rhythm games and reflex challenges you can play in short bursts. Tip: tap as the ring closes, not when the barrier touches the runner.
How to play
Tap to pulse the barriers down as your runner reaches them. Better timing earns more points, and clean passes build a combo multiplier. Wasted pulses break the combo. Hitting a raised barrier costs a life, and the run ends after three hits.
