Pressure Plate Puzzle

Step on numbered pressure plates in the right order to open stone gates and unlock the exit of each temple room, racing a ticking clock in this grid puzzle.

Pressure Plate Puzzle is a tile-by-tile temple puzzle about order and planning. Each sandstone room hides numbered plates. Step on plate 1 and its matching wooden gate swings open, step on 2 and the next gate opens, and once the last plate is down the exit unlocks. It sounds simple until a higher-numbered plate sits right in the corridor you need to cross.

Stepping on a plate out of order resets every plate and gate, sends you back to the entrance and costs five seconds, so you have to pick your route before you move. You start with 70 seconds and every cleared room adds 18 more and a score bonus for the time you had left, minus a penalty for wrong steps. Early rooms have a single gate, then the temple grows to two and three gates with more plates to juggle. Every room is checked when it is built, so a clean route always exists.

This grid puzzle game is great for anyone who enjoys short logic challenges with a little time pressure. Play with arrow keys, WASD, swipes or taps, on desktop or phone. Tip: glance at where the next numbered plate is before you step, and walk around plates you are not ready for.

How to play

Step on the numbered plates in order: 1, 2, 3 and so on. Each plate opens its matching gate, and the last plate unlocks the exit. Reach the exit to clear the room and gain time. Stepping on a plate out of order resets the room and costs 5 seconds. The run ends when the timer reaches zero.
