Pet the puppy, hire shop staff, adopt eight kinds of pets into your pens, keep them fed and happy for bonuses, collect rare coats and open new franchises in this cheerful pet shop idle clicker.
Pet Shop Idle is a bright, cheerful pet store idle clicker. Tap the shop or the puppy on its cushion to earn coins, then hire ten kinds of helpers, from Cage Cleaners and Kibble Stockers to Groomers, Vet Assistants, a Pet Spa and a Pet Hotel. Staff wander the shop floor as you grow, and golden bones appear for random bonuses when you catch them.
The Pets tab is where the care happens. Adopt up to eight species, from a Goldfish and Hamster to a Parrot, Turtle and Pony, into as many as six pens. Each species has its own bonus, such as more production, stronger taps, more bonus events, cheaper prices or automatic pets, but only while it is fed and happy. Food and Joy bars slowly drain, so feed pets with coins and tap a pen in the shop to play. Happy pets grow from Baby to Champion, and every adoption has a chance of a spotted or golden coat that fills your Pet Book for permanent bonuses. When growth slows, open a new franchise to earn Stars for permanent perks, with six locations that each change the shop and give an effect. Offline earnings are capped at eight hours.
It suits fans of cosy shop games who like collecting. Daily missions, a daily challenge, a seven day reward calendar, ranks, six puppy colours and achievements add variety. Tip: feed everyone before you leave, and hire the Pet Sitter early so your bonuses never switch off.
How to play
Tap the shop (or press Space) to pet the puppy and earn coins. Hire staff and buy upgrades, then open the Pets tab to adopt pets into your pens. Feed them with coins and tap a pen in the shop to play, because only fed and happy pets give their bonus. Pets grow with care, and rare coats fill your Pet Book. Catch golden bones for bonuses and finish daily missions. When growth slows, open a new franchise from the Franchise tab to earn Stars for permanent perks. Progress saves automatically and earns coins while you are away.
Controls
- Tap a pen: Play with that pet, or tap an empty pen to open the Pets tab
- Mouse / tap: Tap the main object to earn, tap shop rows to buy, tap bonus events
- Drag / mouse wheel: Scroll the shop list
- Space / Enter: Tap the main object
- 1-9: Buy the matching row in the open tab
- Q / E: Switch tabs
- B: Cycle buy amount (x1, x10, x100, max)
- G: Catch a bonus event
- P / Esc: Pause
- M: Mute
- R: Start the next run after prestiging
