Pendulum Swing

Jump, grab hooks and swing across a sunset sky, letting go at the perfect moment to fly farther and collect stars in this one-button game.

Pendulum Swing is a one-button swinging arcade game set against a warm sunset sky. Your little round hero starts on a ledge. Tap to jump, tap again in the air to latch a rope onto the nearest glowing hook, and tap once more to let go and fling yourself forward. The real pendulum physics mean that timing is everything: release on the upswing to soar, or let go too early and drop toward the danger zone below.

The course is generated as you go. Hooks get farther apart and sit at more varied heights the deeper you travel, so you need longer, better-timed swings. Gold stars float between hooks for bonus points, and every so often a teal bonus platform appears where you can land safely for an extra 50 points before launching again. Your score adds distance flown, stars collected and platforms landed, and the run ends when you fall off the bottom of the screen. The nearest hook in range is always highlighted, so you know when a grab will work.

This is perfect for fans of simple tap games that are easy to learn but hard to master. Tip: let go just after the bottom of the swing as you rise forward for the longest flights.

How to play

Tap to jump off the ledge, tap in the air to grab the highlighted hook and tap again to release. Fly as far as you can, collect stars and land on teal bonus platforms. Falling off the bottom of the screen ends the run.
