Take penalties through a 16-team cup bracket. Aim, bend and power each kick past a keeper who learns your habits, then unlock tougher cups, new kits, balls and stadiums.
Penalty Cup is a soccer penalty shootout game built around a full 16-team cup bracket. Stand over the spot, drag the reticle to a spot in the goal, set how much the ball should bend with the curve slider, then hold the kick button and release inside the green zone for a clean strike. Corners earn bonus points, and a curled shot that sends the keeper the wrong way scores a fooled-keeper bonus.
Every match is five kicks each followed by sudden death, with your opponent's kicks played out for you. The keeper is the real opponent: he starts with a favourite side, then learns where your shots land and moves his dive toward your habits, reads curled shots faster in later rounds, and reaches wider the more rated his team is. Go for full power and the keeper cannot get across in time, but overhit the ball and your aim goes wild. The bracket shows every result as you advance from the round of 16 to the final, and winning a cup unlocks a tougher one, from Bronze to Legend.
Play the cup for the long haul, the sudden streak for a quick high score, or the daily challenge with a new twist such as crosswind or a tiny goal. Coins buy upgrades such as a steadier power zone, a keeper scouting report and iron gloves. Tip: change your target after every kick, because a keeper who learns you cannot be beaten twice with the same shot.
How to play
Drag inside the goal to place the reticle, adjust the CURVE slider to bend the ball, then hold KICK and release while the power bar is in the green zone. Too little power is easy to save and too much power makes the shot inaccurate. In the cup, win each best-of-five shootout (then sudden death) to reach the next round of the 16-team bracket; one loss ends the run. In Sudden Streak, keep scoring until you have missed twice. Mix up your corners because the keeper learns where you shoot.
Controls
- Mouse / touch: Drag in the goal to aim, drag the CURVE slider, hold KICK and release to shoot
- Arrow keys: Move the aiming reticle
- A / D: Bend the shot left or right
- Space: Hold to charge the kick, release to shoot
- P / Esc: Pause
- M: Mute
- R: Play again from the results screen
