Path Trace

Steer a dot along a winding scrolling path that speeds up and narrows, collecting orbs for combo points without slipping off the edge.

Path Trace is an endless steering arcade game with a fresh mint-and-white look. A white path scrolls toward you and your blue dot has to stay inside it. Slide your finger or mouse left and right, or use the arrow keys, and follow every curve as the road twists across the screen.

The run starts gently on a wide, straight lane so you can get a feel for the controls. After a few seconds the path begins to swing from side to side, the curves get sharper, the lane gets narrower and the scroll speed keeps climbing. Leaving the path is not instant death: a red ring fills around your dot and you have a split second to get back before you crash. Golden orbs sit along the route, and picking them up in a row builds a combo multiplier worth up to five times the base value. Distance milestones every 500 metres pop up to mark your progress.

This is a great one-more-try game for fans of reflex tests and endless runners. Tip: watch the path a little ahead of your dot rather than the dot itself, so you start turning before the curve arrives.

How to play

Keep your dot on the scrolling path. Distance earns points and golden orbs add combo bonuses. The path speeds up and narrows as you go. If you stay off the path for more than a moment, the run ends.
