Parry Master
A timing duel in a snowy mountain courtyard. Swordsmen attack from four sides; press the matching direction exactly as the ring closes to parry, counter and chain perfect combos.
Parry Master is a rhythm-flavored sword duel set in a quiet snow-covered temple courtyard. You stand in the middle and never move. Foes walk in from the top, bottom, left and right, stop at a marker, and begin to wind up. A ring shrinks toward each marker, and the instant it meets the circle you must press the direction of that attacker to parry and cut them down.
Timing decides everything. A hit inside the wide window counts as a parry, while one inside the narrow center earns a PERFECT with double points, a flash and a slice of slow motion. Pressing too early breaks your combo and locks your sword for a moment, and waiting too long costs one of your five spirit diamonds. Fast foes wind up quickly, purple feinters fake a strike and then restart, and armored heavies need two parries in a row. Every twenty seconds a new wave begins with bonus points and a recovered diamond, the tempo rises, and up to four enemies attack at once. Combos multiply your score, and the total number of foes you defeat is saved as a belt rank from White to Black.
It suits fans of timing and reflex games who like short, focused runs on keyboard or touch. Tip: watch the ring rather than the enemy, and never tap early when you see a purple feinter.
How to play
Press the arrow key or WASD direction (or tap that side of the screen) of the foe who is attacking, exactly when the shrinking ring meets its circle. Perfect parries score double and slow time. Early or late presses break your combo, and a missed strike costs one of your five spirit diamonds.
