Neon Defense is a sci-fi tower defense game where rogue drones race down a glowing circuit toward your core and only your towers stand in the way. Build Pulse Guns, Frost Coils, Splash Mortars and Long Lasers, then upgrade each one all the way to Mk IV. Watching a well-planned maze of towers shred a huge wave is deeply satisfying.
You must survive 25 waves of fast darts, armored tanks, swarms of mites, healing medics and a boss every fifth wave, ending with a giant Mothership. Choose from three hand-built maps: the forgiving Neon Serpent, Spiral Core and the brutal Lightning Run. Each tower can be set to target the first, strongest or closest enemy, and you can sell towers to rethink your layout. Every kill pays credits, clearing a wave pays more, and calling the next wave early earns a bonus for brave commanders. A double-speed toggle keeps the action moving.
This free online tower defense game is for strategy players who enjoy planning, upgrading and squeezing out a higher score on every map, and it works with clicks on desktop or taps on mobile. Tip: put Frost Coils near the start of long straight sections so your damage towers get more time to hit slowed enemies.
How to play
Stop enemies from reaching your core for 25 waves. Click or tap an empty cell beside the path to build a tower, and click a tower to upgrade, sell or change its targeting. Kills and cleared waves earn credits and points, calling waves early adds bonus credits, and leftover lives add a big bonus at the end. Enemies that reach the core cost lives; lose them all and the game ends. Keys: 1-4 quick build, U upgrade, Space next wave, F speed.

- Click / Tap: Select a cell or tower
- 1-4: Quick build at the selected or hovered cell
- U: Upgrade the selected tower
- Space / N: Start or call the next wave
- F: Toggle 1x / 2x speed
- P / Esc: Pause
- M: Mute
