Neon Dash is a one-button rhythm platformer where your little cube races forward on its own and all you do is jump. The whole world pulses to the beat while you hop over spikes, giving every run a hypnotic, flowing feel. It is instantly playable and seriously challenging.
You leap over rows of spikes, land on floating blocks, bounce off yellow jump pads and fly through portals that flip gravity so you run along the ceiling. Each stage is built from hand-made obstacle patterns, and every new stage is faster and trickier than the last. Touch a spike or crash into the side of a block and the run is over, but the stages are the same every time, so each attempt teaches you a little more. A progress bar shows how far you have come, with a marker for your best attempt.
This free online one-button game suits players who love precise timing and the satisfaction of finally beating a tough section. It works with a tap on mobile or a click or key press on desktop. Your score is the distance you travel. Tip: hold the jump button through long spike rows, because the cube jumps again the instant it lands.
How to play
Jump over spikes and blocks for as long as you can; your score is the distance travelled. Tap, click or press Space, Up or W to jump, and hold to jump again the moment you land. Yellow pads launch you high, and portals flip gravity. Touching a spike or hitting the side of a block ends the run. Finish a stage to move on to the next, faster one.
