Neon Arena is a twin-stick arena shooter where you drop into a glowing grid and fight off endless waves of hostile neon shapes. Move with one hand, aim with the other and keep the bullets flowing as the screen fills with danger. Every run feels different thanks to the upgrades you pick along the way.
Each wave mixes in new enemies: swarming chasers, dashers that wind up and charge, splitters that burst into smaller minis, turrets that snipe from range and heavy tanks that fire rings of bullets. Kills raise a score multiplier up to x3, but taking a hit resets it. Enemies sometimes drop power-ups for rapid fire, spread shot, a shield or repairs. After clearing each wave you choose one of three upgrades, such as extra damage, piercing rounds, more barrels or health regeneration, so you build your own path through the waves.
This free online wave survival shooter is for action fans who love roguelite-style builds and score chasing. Play with WASD and the mouse on desktop, or use twin virtual sticks on mobile. Space auto-aims at the nearest enemy. Tip: keep circling the arena instead of standing still, since turrets and tanks punish anyone who stays in one place.
How to play
Survive as many waves as possible by shooting enemies before they reach you. Touching enemies or their bullets costs health, and the run ends at zero. Kills raise your score multiplier up to x3; a hit resets it. Clearing a wave grants a bonus, some health and an upgrade choice (keys 1-3). Move with WASD, aim and hold click to shoot, use the arrow keys to fire in a direction, or use twin sticks on touch screens.
