Nature Trail Quiz is a nature trivia game about the living and non-living world around us. More than 400 questions cover plants, ecosystems, weather and geology, with plain multiple choice, true or false, put-in-order and matching puzzles. Picture questions are drawn by the game itself, so you may be asked to recognise a cumulus cloud, a pinnate leaf, a shield volcano or folded rock layers, or to count the rings on a tree stump.
A run is a hike of up to five rounds with eight questions each, and every round is set in a new landscape and gets harder as you go. You have three hearts, a timer on every question and three lifelines: 50:50, skip and freeze. Faster answers score more, streaks multiply your points, and every five correct in a row earns a spare lifeline. Answer questions from all four topics in a row for a Biodiversity bonus, and finish a round perfectly to win a heart back.
Progress is saved on your device. Correct answers fill your Field Journal and raise a mastery percentage that unlocks titles from Seedling to Grand Naturalist. You also earn ranks, coins for new skies and perks, three daily goals and a daily quiz with its own stars and streak. It suits students, nature lovers and anyone who enjoys a quick science quiz. Tip: start on Easy to learn the topics, then move up to Medium once you reach rank 3.
How to play
Answer each question before the timer bar runs out. Faster answers and streaks score more. A wrong answer or timeout costs a heart. Use 50:50, skip or freeze when stuck. Complete five rounds of eight questions to finish the hike, or play the daily quiz of ten questions with no hearts to lose.

- Mouse / tap: Pick an answer, place items in order, match pairs, use lifelines and buttons
- 1-4 or A-D: Choose an answer (1-8 for decade chips)
- Arrow keys + Enter: Move between answers and confirm
