Mythology & Legends Quiz is a trivia game about the gods, heroes and monsters of stories from around the world. Its bank of more than 330 hand-written questions covers Greek and Roman myths, Norse sagas, Egypt and Sumer, British and Celtic legends, Asian legends, tales from the Americas and the Pacific, stories of Africa and the Middle East, and famous creatures of folklore. Twenty questions are picture puzzles, such as naming the god who carried a drawn trident, hammer or lyre, or the monster at the center of a maze.
Each run is twelve quests with a hero marching along a track of colored milestones. You start with three laurels and a timer on every question. A wrong answer or a timeout costs a laurel, a streak multiplies your score up to times five, and every fourth correct answer in a row wins a laurel back. After every answer a short fact explains the story behind it. Lifelines remove two wrong answers, stop the timer or forgive a mistake, and you can pick Easy, Normal or Expert or focus on one tradition. Levels unlock lifelines, difficulties and color looks, topic mastery earns medals and titles, and coins buy upgrades. A daily quiz serves the same ten questions to everyone, with a day streak bonus and three daily goals.
It suits students, myth lovers and anyone who enjoys a quick quiz on a phone or computer. Tip: read the picture first, because the symbol often gives the answer away.
How to play
Complete twelve quests by answering mythology questions before each timer runs out. Pick one of four answers. A wrong answer or a timeout costs a laurel, a streak multiplies your score and can win a laurel back, and a short fact follows every answer. Use lifelines for 50/50, an Hourglass or the Aegis, and earn XP and coins to level up and unlock more.
