Midnight Drive
Cruise an endless neon-lit night highway in pseudo-3D, dodge oncoming headlights, grab fuel cans and chain close calls to drive further before your tank runs dry.
Midnight Drive is an endless night driving game with a retro pseudo-3D road. Streetlights glow overhead, the road rolls over hills and through long curves, and oncoming headlights flare out of the dark. Your only real enemy is the fuel gauge: it drains every second, faster at high speed, and the run ends when the tank is empty and the car rolls to a stop.
Red fuel cans on the road refill a quarter of the tank, and green FUEL AHEAD signs mark the stretches to watch. Skimming past another car scores a close call that adds bonus distance, and chaining close calls within a few seconds builds a combo up to five times the bonus. Crashing costs fuel and most of your speed. Every 1.5 km you enter a new night zone, from Sleepy Suburbs and Pine Highway to Neon Downtown and Aurora Pass, each with its own neon road stripes, a small fuel top-up, denser traffic, a higher top speed and tighter curves.
Your best distance is saved and unlocks five paint jobs for your car. It suits anyone who likes relaxed but tense synthwave-style driving and one-more-run arcade racing. Tip: brake early into sharp curves, since running wide onto the shoulder scrubs off speed fast.
How to play
Your car accelerates by itself. Steer with the Left and Right arrows or A and D, and brake with Down, S or Space. On touch screens hold the left or right side to steer and both sides to brake. Collect fuel cans to refill the tank, avoid other cars, and pass close to traffic for bonus distance. The run ends when you run out of fuel; your score is the distance you drove in metres.
