Adopt kittens, drag matching pairs together to breed twenty cuter, richer cats, pet them for coins and open cozy cat cafes in this relaxing merge idle game.
Merge Kittens is a cozy merge idle game set on a pastel rug full of sleepy cats. Adopt a Fluffball, adopt another, then drag one onto its twin to breed a Tabby. Keep merging to discover twenty breeds, from Calico, Siamese and Tuxedo to Moon Cat, Rainbow Cat, a crowned Royal Cat, a Wizard Cat with a pointy hat and the glowing Infinity Cat. Every kitten earns coins on its own, and petting one makes it purr and earn double for a few seconds.
Space is the real puzzle. The room only has a handful of cushions, every adoption raises prices, and gift boxes keep dropping in, so you must decide when to merge, when to adopt a higher breed directly and when to buy a bigger room. Upgrades add yarn toys that double income, treats for stronger petting, faster and fancier gift deliveries, a box cutter and a matchmaker that merges pairs for you. Catch the rolling yarn ball for a catnip party or a coin purse.
Once you breed a Sky Cat you can open a cat cafe, earning stars that permanently raise income and unlock perks such as a head-start room and higher-level gifts. The stars from each cafe are your score. Progress saves automatically and your kittens keep earning while you are away. Tip: keep one free cushion so gift boxes can land.
How to play
Tap Adopt to buy a kitten, then drag a kitten onto another of the same breed to merge them into the next breed, which earns far more coins. Tap kittens to pet them for coins and double income for a few seconds. Spend coins on upgrades and higher breeds in the shop. After you breed a Sky Cat (level 8), open a cat cafe in the Cafe tab to earn permanent stars; the stars earned are your score.
Controls
- Drag (mouse / touch): Move a kitten or merge it with a twin
- Tap / click a kitten: Pet it for coins, open gift boxes
- Tap / hold a shop row: Buy (hold to buy many)
- Space: Pet your best kitten
- A: Adopt the best kitten you can afford
- G: Merge one matching pair
- 1-9: Buy the matching shop row
- Q / E: Switch shop tab
- P / Esc: Pause
- M: Mute
