Mana Clash

A card-and-tower battle against the computer: spend mana on knights, archers, giants and spells, push over the bridges and break the towers. Win matches to unlock cards and face a smarter AI.

Mana Clash is a fast lane-battle card game played against the computer. You hold a hand of four cards drawn from your deck, and every card costs mana from a bar that refills over time. Tap a card, then tap your half of the arena to drop knights, archers, goblins, skeletons or a giant, or cast a fireball anywhere. Your troops march over one of two bridges and attack the nearest tower, and the arena rotates to suit portrait phones and wide desktop screens.

The opponent plays like a person with a plan. It reads what you have sent over the river, answers a giant with cannons and heavy hitters, burns swarms with fireballs, supports its own tank with archers, picks the lane where your defence is thinnest and pushes when you are low on mana. Every win in a streak raises its level and gives it more health and mana, while the last minute doubles mana for frantic finishes. Destroying towers earns crowns, and a fallen King tower ends the match at once. Wins unlock extra cards such as the fireball and the brute, and after each match you pick a royal decree like extra mana, tougher towers or cheaper cards.

It suits fans of strategy card games who like quick two or three minute matches. Tip: keep a cheap card in hand to counter a late push, and cycle skeletons when mana is overflowing. Your win streak and unlocked cards are saved.

How to play

Tap a card from your hand, then tap your half of the arena to deploy it, spending mana. Fireball can be cast anywhere. Troops cross the bridges and attack towers, so defend with cannons and counters. Destroy towers to earn crowns and take the King tower to win instantly. Win matches to keep your streak, unlock cards and choose decrees; lose a match and the run ends.

Mouse / tap: Tap a card, then tap the arena to deploy it
1-4: Pick a card from your hand
Space: Deploy the picked card at the cursor
P / Esc: Pause
M: Mute
