Lock-on Mech
Paint up to eight targets with a sweeping reticle, then release a homing missile salvo across a desert battlefield. Survive endless waves, manage gun heat and unlock bigger missile racks.
Lock-on Mech is a top-down mech shooter set on a sun-baked desert test range, built around one satisfying idea: paint your targets, then let go. Hold the lock button and sweep a reticle across the battlefield to tag drones, tanks, helicopters and heavy walkers, then release to unleash a salvo of homing missiles that curve around the screen and detonate in chains. It is a lock-on shooting game with real weight, with chunky screen shake on every volley.
You fight in waves. Wave one is gentle, and every sector clear pays a bonus and repairs two armor. Later waves bring fast swarms, helicopters that strafe in bursts, and walkers that fire five-shell spreads. Your machine gun handles close work but overheats if you hold the trigger too long, so you have to mix bursts with missile salvos. Bigger salvos multiply the points per kill, and wiping out a whole volley of four or more earns a bonus. Your furthest wave is saved, and reaching wave 3, 5, 7 and 10 permanently unlocks extra missile slots, thicker armor and better gun cooling.
This is a good pick for players who like arena shooters, bullet-dodging and combo scoring, on desktop with mouse and keyboard or on a phone with twin thumb sticks and a dedicated lock button. Tip: keep moving, tag tanks first, and save a full rack for walkers.
How to play
Walk your mech, aim and fire the machine gun to thin out enemies. Hold the lock button and sweep the reticle over enemies to paint targets, then release to fire homing missiles. Bigger salvos multiply points. Clear each wave to repair armor, avoid enemy fire, and reach higher waves to unlock permanent upgrades. The run ends when your armor reaches zero.
