Infect.io
A two-sided tag arena: survive a zombie outbreak in a sunny suburb by sprinting and hiding in bushes, then play patient zero and infect every survivor before time runs out.
Infect.io is a zombie tag arena io game set in a bright suburban neighborhood full of houses, ponds, trees and leafy bushes. Every level is played from both sides. First you are one of the townsfolk: when the outbreak starts, green zombies hunt down anyone they touch, and each person they tag turns and joins the horde. Then the roles flip and you become patient zero, racing the clock to infect the whole crowd.
As a survivor you can sprint on a stamina bar, grab speed boots and shields, and duck into bushes where zombies cannot see you unless they get close. Staying near danger pays: points tick up two and a half times faster during a close call. Get caught and the round is not over, because you rise as a zombie and keep scoring infections. As patient zero you lunge on a cooldown, every survivor you tag becomes a helper in your horde, the super sniff power-up reveals hidden survivors, and when only a few remain the minimap pings their positions. Fail to infect everyone in time and the run ends.
There are five levels, each with more townsfolk who are smarter about hiding and sprinting. Coins buy permanent Stamina, Lunge and Quick Feet upgrades. Tip: as a zombie, watch for rustling bushes and herd survivors toward fences and corners.
How to play
Each level has two phases. Survive: avoid the zombies until the timer ends by sprinting and hiding in bushes; if you are caught you turn and can infect others. Infect: you are patient zero and must tag every survivor before time runs out, with your growing horde helping. Clear all five levels to win; failing an infect phase ends the run.
