Ice Glide
Guide a pixel penguin across a frozen lake where every push glides until it hits a rock. Reach the exit in par moves through endless levels with snow drifts and thin ice.
Ice Glide is a sliding ice puzzle starring a little pixel penguin in a red hat, set on a sunny frozen lake ringed by snowy hills and pine trees. Once the penguin starts moving it cannot stop on slick ice, so every push sends it gliding in a straight line until it bumps into a rock. Getting to the glowing exit means working out which rocks to use as brakes.
Levels are generated from a seed and checked with a solver, so every board is solvable and its par is the true shortest route. The first lakes are small with three-move solutions; as you progress the lake widens and par climbs toward fifteen moves. From level six, fluffy snow drifts appear that stop the penguin dead wherever it lands on one, opening new routes. From level twelve, thin-ice holes join in, and sliding over one dunks the penguin with a splash and sends it back, costing a move.
This ice sliding maze game suits fans of calm logic puzzles who like finding the perfect line. Match par for three stars, use undo freely, and browse every unlocked level in the picker. Your best score is your total star count. Tip: work backwards from the exit and ask which rock or drift could stop you right next to it.
How to play
Choose a direction and the penguin glides until it hits a rock, the edge of the lake or a snow drift. Reach the glowing exit tile to finish the level. Thin-ice holes dunk the penguin and send it back to where it started that move. Finish in par moves for three stars, or up to two over par for two stars. Undo and restart are always available. Your best score is the total stars you have collected.
