Hurdle Dash
A three-event athletics meet against five computer rivals: button-mash the 100m hurdles, then nail the long jump and javelin with timing and angle to win medals.
Hurdle Dash is an athletics button-masher in the spirit of classic track and field games. Each meet has three events: the 100m hurdles, the long jump and the javelin. Every result is converted into points with combined-events style scoring tables, and your total decides whether you beat five computer athletes to a medal.
Speed comes from rapidly alternating left and right; tapping the same side twice does nothing, so rhythm matters as much as raw speed. In the hurdles you race the rivals side by side and must jump about two metres before each barrier, because clipping one costs you momentum. In the long jump you sprint down the runway, take off before the red board line, then hold and release to set the take-off angle. The javelin works the same way with a white foul line and a different ideal angle. Field events give you three attempts, with a changing wind that helps or hurts, and gold markers show your personal bests.
Five meets run from School Sports Day to the World Athletics Final, and the rivals get faster and jump and throw further at each level. Finish in the top three to unlock the next meet. Tip: a fast run-up matters, but a smart angle near the green zone adds more distance than a few extra taps.
How to play
Alternate left and right as fast as you can to run. In the 100m hurdles, press jump about two metres before each hurdle; hitting one slows you down. In the long jump and javelin, sprint and press jump or throw before the foul line, hold to raise the angle and release near the green zone. Each field event gives three attempts and your best counts. Results become points; finish in the top three overall to win a medal and unlock the next meet.
