Hoop Shot is a fast basketball shooting game set on the polished hardwood of a packed indoor arena. Pull back, aim and let it fly: the ball bounces realistically off the rim and backboard, and the net snaps when you drain a clean swish. It is easy to start and hard to put down.
You have 60 seconds to score as many points as you can. A basket is worth 2 and a swish is worth 3. Make three in a row to catch fire for double points, and six in a row for triple. While you are on fire, each basket adds a second to the clock and each swish adds another, but a miss puts the fire out. Score enough and the hoop starts gliding around, first up and down and then side to side, so you have to lead your shots. Aiming dots only appear for your first few throws, so you build a real feel for the arc.
This free online basketball game is perfect for quick sessions on desktop or mobile, with slingshot-style drag controls for mouse and touch, plus keyboard aiming. Tip: protect your streak first, because staying on fire is worth more than gambling on a risky swish.
How to play
Score as many points as possible before the 60-second clock runs out. Drag back and release to throw like a slingshot; the farther you pull, the harder the throw. Baskets are worth 2 points and swishes 3. Three in a row sets you on fire for x2, six for x3, and on-fire baskets add time. A miss ends the streak. Keyboard players use Up/Down for angle, Left/Right for power and Space to shoot.
