Growing Plant
Guide a branching vine from its flowerpot up to the sun. Water it just enough, steer the growing tips with your light and snip branches before they hit the thorns.
Growing Plant is a gentle arcade game about coaxing a living vine toward the sunlight. The vine grows on its own, splitting into new branches as it climbs out of a terracotta pot, and every glowing tip leans toward whatever light you hold on the screen. Touch the sun with any tip and the whole plant bursts into pink blossoms. It is a calm, hands-on kind of challenge that feels more like gardening than racing.
There are eight greenhouse levels. Thorny bramble bars stretch across the sky with a single gap to slip through, and later rows slide from side to side while spiky burrs drift back and forth and the sun itself starts to wander. Water is the other half of the job. A thirsty vine slows to a crawl and wilts, but pour too much and it drowns, so you keep the meter between the lines. More branches drink faster and split your growth, which is why pruning matters: tap a stray branch to snip it and everything above it.
This plant growing game suits anyone who likes relaxed steering puzzles with a little time pressure. Tip: prune early. Keeping only one or two tips alive makes the vine grow faster and much easier to thread through narrow gaps in the thorns.
How to play
Hold or drag on the screen to shine a guiding light, and the growing tips bend toward it. Tap a branch to prune it, and tap the watering can or press Space to water. Keep the water level between dry and too wet, avoid the thorns, and touch the sun with a tip to clear the level. Three hits from thorns, drought or flooding wither the vine.
