Grid Glow is a cozy lantern-festival logic puzzle that is easy to learn and surprisingly tricky to master. Every tap flips a paper lantern along with its four neighbours, so each move changes the board in more than one place. Your goal is simple: switch off every light on the board.
Forty hand-tuned levels grow from tiny 3x3 warm-ups to big 7x7 boards and odd shapes such as rings, diamonds, crosses and lattices, where missing cells change how the flips ripple across the grid. Every level is guaranteed to be solvable and has a par score worked out by a built-in solver. Finish in par or fewer moves for three stars, or a few moves over for two. Beating a level unlocks the next, and your progress and stars are saved automatically.
This free online light-flipping puzzle is ideal for players who enjoy calm, thoughtful brain teasers with no timer, and it works with taps on mobile, clicks on desktop or the keyboard. A hint button highlights a light from an optimal solution, though using it caps that level at two stars. Tip: the order of your taps never matters, only which lights you tap, so tapping the same light twice simply cancels out.
How to play
Turn every light off to complete the level. Clicking or tapping a light toggles it and the lights directly above, below, left and right of it. Match the par move count for 3 stars; a few extra moves earns 2. H shows a hint (capping the level at 2 stars), R resets the board and L opens level select. Arrows or WASD plus Space let you play by keyboard. Beat a level to unlock the next.
