Pan a frontier river for gold, hire prospectors, build sluices, dredges and mines, time a swinging gold price and grow a boom town in this idle tycoon clicker.
Gold Rush Idle is a frontier tycoon clicker set on a sunny desert river. Tap the big pan to swirl up glittering flakes, then reinvest your dollars in ten kinds of claims: prospectors along the bank, sluice boxes, rocker cradles, water cannons, steam dredges, a stamp mill, a deep mine, an ore railway, an assay office and a gold exchange. Each one appears on the river or the hills as it starts producing, and every 15 claims you own grows the town from a tent camp to a city hall, adding a production bonus for each level.
The twist is the market. The gold price drifts up and down on a live chart, with sudden Gold Fever spikes that double it and slumps that cut it in half. Switch to Hoard to store production as ounces in your vault, then Sell when the price climbs for a much bigger payout. Glinting nuggets in the river give lump sums or a Mother Lode that boosts output sevenfold, and milestones at 10, 25, 50 and more of a claim double its output.
When your claim is booming, Sell Out and Head West to restart with Claim Deeds that permanently raise production; the deeds gained are your run score. The game autosaves and pays you for time away. Tip: hoard through slumps and sell into a fever.
How to play
Tap the gold pan to earn dollars and buy claims and upgrades in the shop panel. Watch the gold price chart: switch to Hoard to stash production as ounces while prices are low, then press Sell during a Gold Fever. Tap glinting nuggets in the river for bonuses. When you have earned enough, use the Deeds tab to sell out for Claim Deeds, which permanently boost production; deeds gained are your run score.
