Fuse Length
Slide a cutter along a rope fuse and cut it to the exact length each bomb needs. Precise cuts score big, while a miss of half a unit means boom.
Fuse Length is a precision cutting game laid out on warm kraft paper, like a workshop bench covered in sketches. Each bomb comes with a pinned order card telling you exactly how many units of fuse it needs. Slide the red-handled cutter along the rope, judge the length by eye and the tick marks, and release to cut. The fuse then burns down to show how close you were.
Cuts within a twentieth of a unit are Perfect, then Great, Good and OK, and anything more than half a unit off is too short or too long, which costs one of your three lives. Consecutive good cuts build a streak multiplier. The challenge ramps up steadily: fuses grow from 10 to 15 units, targets move to half, quarter and tenth units, tick marks thin out and finally disappear, and later fuses curve and wave so straight-line guessing no longer works. The live length readout only helps on the first two bombs.
This estimation skill game is great for players who like quick rounds and a test of their eye. Tip: on keyboard, hold Shift with the arrow keys to nudge the cutter slowly for those tenth-of-a-unit targets.
How to play
Each bomb needs a fuse of an exact length. Drag along the fuse to place the cutter and release to cut, or use the arrow keys and Space. The closer your cut, the more points you score, with a streak multiplier for consecutive good cuts. Missing by more than half a unit costs one of three lives. The run ends when all lives are gone.
