FreeCell
Traditional FreeCell solitaire on a warm walnut table, with numbered deals from 1 to 1,000,000, a deal ladder, unlimited undo, hints and smart auto-moves.
FreeCell is the solitaire game where almost every deal can be won, so each loss is a puzzle you can go back and crack. All 52 cards are dealt face up into eight columns, and four free cells give you room to park cards while you dig out Aces and build each suit home from Ace to King. Cards slide smoothly, finished suits pop into place and the last cards fly home on their own.
Build columns downward in alternating colours, and move whole ordered runs at once when you have enough empty cells and columns to shuffle them through; a counter on the dragged run shows when it is too long. Deals use the traditional numbering, so deal #1 always looks the same, and Ladder mode walks you through deals in order while saving how far you have climbed. Switch to 3 or 2 free cells for a much tougher challenge and a bigger base score, with extra points for speed and for using few moves.
It suits anyone who likes a calm but brainy card puzzle. Unlimited undo, cycling hints, tap-to-move and safe auto-moves keep the game flowing, and your wins, streaks and fastest times are saved for every free cell setting. Tip: keep at least one free cell open as long as you can.
How to play
Move all 52 cards to the four foundations, building each suit up from Ace to King. In the columns, place a card on one a rank higher of the opposite colour; any card can fill an empty column. Each free cell holds one card. Ordered runs can move together if there is enough free space: (empty cells + 1) x 2 for each empty column. Cards that are no longer needed jump home automatically. A win scores a base for your free cell setting plus bonuses for speed and few moves.
