Forest Quest
A top-down action adventure. Swing your sword, find a bow and dash boots, unlock three dungeons from a hub village, defeat bosses and collect hearts to restore the shattered Crown of Leaves.
Forest Quest is a top-down action adventure in the spirit of classic dungeon explorers. You start in a small village at the heart of the Whispering Woods with a sword and an empty purse. Cut bushes, break pots, open chests and fight slimes, bats, goblins and skeleton archers on your way to three dungeons: the Mossy Ruins, Frost Hollow and Ember Keep.
Exploration is the heart of the game. The first dungeon hides the hunter's bow, which lets you shoot a crystal across a pond to open the Frost Gate and flip barriers inside the ice caves. The second dungeon hands you the dash boots, which let you leap wide chasms to reach the final keep and hidden heart pieces. Each dungeon has small keys, a boss key, locked doors and a boss fight with its own attack pattern. Hearts, gems and arrows drop from enemies, and a merchant in the village sells permanent upgrades such as extra hearts, a bigger quiver and a sharper sword.
Your adventure autosaves, so you can stop and continue at any time. Every day a new arena challenge with a rule twist, a daily streak, rank progression and three daily goals give you reasons to come back. Tip: explore every corner of the forest early, because bush-ringed groves and shrines hold heart pieces, and dash only when you are standing right at the edge of a gap.
How to play
Explore the woods, fight enemies with your sword and collect gems. Find keys to open dungeon doors, defeat each boss and grab the bow and dash boots to reach new areas. Collect heart pieces and spend gems on upgrades. If you are knocked out you keep your progress and continue at the last safe spot.

- WASD / arrows: Move
- Space / J: Sword, talk, open chests
- K / B / click: Fire the bow
- Shift / C: Dash (after finding the boots)
- Touch: Left stick to move, buttons for sword, bow and dash
- P / Esc: Pause
- M: Mute
