Flail
Swing a spiked ball on a chain around a sunny sand arena. Keep moving to whip it faster, smash waves of foes and choose a new blessing every two waves.
Flail is a physics arena brawler where you never attack directly. Your gladiator drags a spiked iron ball on a real swinging chain, and the faster that ball travels, the harder it hits. Circle, zigzag and change direction to whip it around you, then watch slow swings bounce off while full-speed smashes send enemies flying into each other.
The sun-baked colosseum fills with waves of foes. Grunts shuffle in, runners weave toward you, archers keep their distance and loose arrows you can swat out of the air, armored knights shrug off weak hits and hulking ogres take a real beating. Every fifth wave a golden champion joins the fight. Chaining kills builds a combo multiplier, and after every second wave you choose one of three blessings, such as a heavier ball, longer spikes, a longer chain, swift boots, an extra heart or bandages. The swing power meter shows how hard your next hit will land.
This momentum-based action game suits players who like physics toys with a skill ceiling. Your best score, furthest wave and arena rank are saved. Tip: run in wide loops instead of straight at enemies, and use knocked-back foes as bowling balls to hit the crowd behind them.
How to play
Move your gladiator and the spiked ball on the chain follows with momentum. The ball only does real damage when it is moving fast, so keep circling and changing direction to whip it into enemies. Avoid touching enemies and arrows; each hit costs a heart. Clear a wave to start the next, pick a blessing after every second wave and grab dropped hearts to heal. The run ends when your hearts run out.

- Mouse (click, then move): Gladiator walks toward the cursor
- Arrow keys / WASD: Move
