Six-a-side capture the flag on a sunny beach. Sneak into enemy sand, grab their flag, dash past defenders and bring it home three times to win.
Flag.io is a breezy capture-the-flag arena game played on a sunny beach. You and five bot teammates wear Coral red, the other six bots play for Lagoon blue, and a rope of buoys splits the sand into two halves. Grab the enemy flag from its stand, carry it back to yours and be the first team to three captures.
The rules give every second a choice. In your own half you are the hunter: touch any intruder to tag them and send them back to base, and touch a dropped flag of yours to return it. In enemy sand you are the prey, so time your dash, which makes you untouchable for a split second and can tackle a flag carrier anywhere on the field. Bots play real roles as attackers, defenders and midfielders, chase carriers, escort teammates and race for speed boosts and shields that appear at midfield. A tie after four minutes goes to a golden-flag overtime. Winning promotes you through seven leagues, from the Rookie Cup to the Champions Cup, with faster and smarter rivals at every step and new arenas at Sunset Pier and Tropical Lagoon.
It is a great pick for quick team action with a clear goal. Tip: wait until defenders chase someone else, then dash past the midline with the flag.
How to play
Take the enemy flag from its stand and carry it to your own stand to score a capture. The first team to 3 captures wins; if time runs out, the leading team wins, and a tie goes to golden-flag overtime. In your half, touching an enemy tags them and sends them back to base. In the enemy half you can be tagged, so dash to slip past, or dash into a flag carrier to tackle them anywhere. Winning promotes you to a tougher league.
