Final Balance
Hang numbered weights on a blueprint mobile so every rod balances. Use torque, weight times distance, to solve ten levels against the clock.
Final Balance is a torque puzzle drawn on an engineer's blueprint, all crisp white lines and pastel weights on blue paper. A hanging mobile waits with empty hooks, and a tray holds numbered weights. Hang every weight so that each rod sits perfectly level. Rods tilt smoothly as you work, turning green when they balance, orange when they lean and red when they tip hard.
The rule is simple physics: a weight pushes harder the farther it hangs from the pivot, so weight times distance has to match on both sides. Hooks sit one, two or three steps from the center of each rod. Early levels use a single rod with two or three weights. Later levels hang smaller rods from the main one, so a sub-rod counts as one heavy weight on its parent while also needing its own balance. Every level is built from a real solution, so it is always solvable. A countdown timer adds pressure, and fast, efficient solutions earn more points.
This balance puzzle is ideal for players who enjoy math puzzles and logic games. Tip: solve the smallest sub-rods first, then treat each one as a single weight when you balance the rod above it.
How to play
Place every weight from the tray on the hooks so that every rod balances: on each rod, weight times distance from the pivot must be equal on both sides. Tap a weight then a hook, or drag it; tap a hung weight to take it back. Solve the level before the timer runs out to earn points for the level, the time left and efficient moves. Ten levels in total; the run ends when time runs out.
