Everyday Science Quiz answers the questions that start with why. More than 330 questions cover kitchen science, home and gadgets, weather and sky, and forces and fun: why ice floats, why bread rises, why the sky is blue, why a seesaw tips. Many questions come with pictures drawn by the game itself, such as simple electric circuits to check, magnets that push or pull, sound waves, a glass prism splitting light, the stages of the water cycle, shadows at different times of day, thermometers to read and seesaws with weights. Puzzles ask you to put things in order or match them.
A run is up to five rounds of eight questions in a kitchen whose window shows the weather changing from sunny to rainy to a rainbow. You have three hearts, a timer on every question and three lifelines: 50:50, skip and freeze. Faster answers score more, streaks multiply your points, and every right answer lights a bulb on your row. Answer four different topics in a row for a Bright idea bonus, and a perfect round wins back a heart.
Your progress is saved on your device. Each topic lights up a room in your science house, mastery unlocks titles from Curious Kid to Everyday Genius, and you earn ranks, coins for new looks and perks, three daily goals and a daily quiz with stars and a streak. It suits curious children, families and teachers. Tip: picture it happening in your own kitchen.
How to play
Answer each question before the timer bar runs out. Faster answers and streaks score more. A wrong answer or timeout costs a heart. Use 50:50, skip or freeze when stuck. Complete five rounds of eight questions, or play the daily quiz of ten questions with no hearts to lose.
