Elastic Band
A slingshot physics game: pull the elastic band back, aim with the dotted arc and knock out every purple critter with as few shots as possible.
Elastic Band is a sunny slingshot physics game. A wooden catapult sits on the left of a grassy field, and cheeky purple critters wait on the ground and on top of stacked crates. Pull the ball back on the elastic, watch the dotted trajectory arc, and let go to send it flying.
Each level gives you a limited number of shots. The ball bounces off crates and the ground, so a clever shot can ricochet into a critter hiding behind a tower or roll through several in a row for a combo bonus. A ball has to be moving fast enough to knock a critter out, so gentle taps will not do. Clear the field and every unused shot becomes bonus points. Later levels add more crates, taller stacks and more critters to topple.
It is a relaxed pick for anyone who enjoys catapult and trajectory puzzles. Tip: low, fast shots skim along the ground and can clear several ground critters at once, while high lobs are best for targets on top of crates.
How to play
Drag back from the slingshot with the mouse or a finger to stretch the elastic band, aim using the dotted arc, then release to launch. Knock out every critter on the level. Each shot uses up one ball and leftover shots become bonus points. Run out of shots with critters left and the game ends.
