Watch the lily pads light up, then help a little frog hop the same sequence. Every round adds one more step to remember.
Echo Steps is a gentle memory game set on a teal lily pond at dusk. Four lily pads sit around a mossy rock, each with its own flower color and musical note, and a cheerful frog waits in the middle. The pads glow in a sequence, and you repeat it by hopping the frog from pad to pad. It is a classic follow-the-pattern challenge with soft ripples, chimes and a hero that bounces with every jump.
Each round starts by playing the whole sequence, then hands control to you. Tap the pads or use the number and arrow keys to hop in the same order. A correct step scores points, and finishing the sequence earns a round bonus before a new step is added to the end. The playback speeds up a little every few rounds, so later sequences demand real focus. A wrong pad costs one of three lives and replays the sequence so you can try again.
This sequence memory game is great for anyone who wants a relaxing brain workout. Tip: hum along with the notes, because each pad has its own pitch, and remembering a short tune is often easier than remembering a list of colors.
How to play
Watch the lily pads glow in order, then repeat the sequence by hopping on the pads in the same order. The game ends when all lives are gone.
Controls
- Tap / click a pad: Hop onto that pad
- 1-4: Hop to pad 1 (top), 2 (right), 3 (bottom) or 4 (left)
- Arrow keys / WASD: Hop up, right, down or left
- P / Esc: Pause
- M: Mute
- R / Enter: Restart after game over
