Drop Merge
Drop numbered candies into five columns and merge matching neighbours into bigger numbers. Chain cascades for multiplied points and earn hammers before the board fills up.
Drop Merge is a number merging puzzle served on a candy-striped board. Each turn you choose one of five columns and drop a numbered candy into it. When it lands next to a candy with the same number, the two fuse into one worth double, and if that new candy now touches another match the merge continues. Long cascades multiply your points and set off chain banners, sparkles and rising chimes.
The board is seven candies tall, and a full column only accepts a candy that matches its top. As your biggest tile grows, the candies you are handed grow too, so a careless drop can choke a column fast. To keep a run alive you have hammers: you start with one and earn another every time you build a new largest tile from 64 upwards. A hammer smashes the top candy of any column, and the game hands you one automatically if you are boxed in. The run ends when no column can take the next candy and no hammers remain. Your best score and largest tile ever are saved.
This merge game suits players who enjoy sliding number puzzles but want a quicker, gravity-driven pace. Tip: keep your largest candies along the bottom of one or two columns and use the next-candy preview to plan landing spots.
How to play
Choose a column to drop the current candy into. Touching candies with the same number merge into one worth double, and merges can chain for multiplied points. A full column only accepts a matching candy. Building new big tiles from 64 up earns hammers, which smash the top candy of a column. The game ends when no column can take the next candy and you have no hammers left.
Controls
- Mouse / tap: Drop into the chosen column
- Left / Right (A / D): Move the drop column
- Space / Down / Enter: Drop the candy
- 1-5: Drop into a column directly
- H / hammer button: Arm a hammer, then pick a column to smash its top candy
- R: Restart
- P / Esc: Pause
- M: Mute sound
