Drift Legend
Throw a neon sports car sideways around four night circuits, chain long slides into huge combos, bank them before you touch a wall and earn medals to unlock tougher tracks.
Drift Legend is a top-down drifting game set on glowing night circuits lined with neon kerbs and street lamps. Your car accelerates by itself, so all of your attention goes into steering and the handbrake: flick the tail out, hold the slide and watch the pending drift score climb. Straighten out for half a second and the points bank into your total, but clip a wall first and the whole unbanked drift is wiped.
Each race is three laps against your own best. The longer you hold a slide, the higher the multiplier climbs, up to x5, and the three sharpest corners on every track are marked as glowing drift zones that double everything you earn inside them. Big drifts trigger a quick freeze-frame and a banner, while a lap timer and best lap record keep the racing line honest. Four circuits each have bronze, silver and gold targets; bronze unlocks the next track, starting with the wide Midnight Oval and ending at the tight switchbacks of Hairpin Heights. Your medal haul sets a career rank from Rookie to Drift Legend.
This drift racing game is for players who enjoy mastering car control in short sessions. Tip: start the slide before the corner, then feather the handbrake instead of holding it, so the car keeps its speed and the multiplier keeps rising.
How to play
The car accelerates automatically. Steer into corners and use the handbrake to slide sideways; the pending drift score grows with speed, angle and a multiplier that rises the longer you hold the slide. Drive straight for a moment to bank the points. Touching a wall wipes any unbanked drift. Drift zones on the three sharpest corners double your points. Finish three laps to see your total and earn bronze, silver or gold; bronze unlocks the next of four tracks.
Controls
- Left / Right or A / D: Steer (choose a track on the title screen)
- Space / Shift / X: Handbrake to start and hold a drift
- Down / S: Brake, or reverse when stopped
- Touch ◀ ▶ buttons: Steer on touch screens
- Touch DRIFT / BRAKE: Handbrake and brake on touch screens
- Enter / Space / tap: Start the race
- P / Esc: Pause
- M: Mute sound
- R: Restart after the finish
